Have you fixed your eyes upon Him?
Lift up your eyes, Precious One
Turn your eyes upwards
Yes, I say to you again
Turn your eyes upwards
Fix your gaze
Towards me, Your Father
Look upwards, Precious One
Where you see bones
I see a platoon of army
Where you see dryness
I see a stream, teaming with life
Where you see darkness
I see light radiating
Look upwards, Precious One
Where you see broken dreams
I see restoration
Where you see crossroads
I see a new beginning
Don’t you see?
When you see impossibilities
I see the possibilities of what I could do with your life.
I see a Champion in training
I see an eagle in you
Like a butterfly in a caterpillar
Set to color the world with grace and beauty

Consecrated Unto You
My life is an offering set apart for You
Burning deep within
a desire
a tremendous hunger
an eagerness to contain Your things
You have so much to reveal
so much to pour forth
I do not have sufficient room to contain
It overruns
It soaks
I long to be in Your presence
at your feet
soaking in your presence
enjoying You
So wonderful, so satisfying
I embrace You
Your gifts and Your callings
I consecrate my heart to you
for that purpose
Make me your instrument
I’ll run with You
Run with Your purpose
Pursue Your given calling
My life is Yours
An offering unto You

Does God not speak?
It rained today. Dark clouds gathered followed by an occasional display of lightning. Seated near the window, I tilted my head skyward observing rain pellets which fell from the sky. What started out as gigantic droplets eventually subsided into tiny droplets. Picture the sky full of tiny rain droplets milling around. How amazing! It’s time like this that brings a sense of awe to my soul.
One could always argue from a scientific point of view, citing the laws of nature of raindrops forming when water vapor condenses on micrometer-sized particles of dust floating in the atmosphere. Certainly the Lord covers the heaven with clouds, provides rain for the earth, and makes the green grass grow in mountain pastures.
“Where were you when I laid the foundations of the earth? Tell me, if you know so much. Do you know how its dimensions were determined and who did the surveying? What supports its foundations, and who laid its cornerstone as the morning stars sang together and all the angels shouted with for joy? “ - Job 38:4-7
“Who created a channel for the torrents of rain? Who laid out the path for the lightning? Who makes the rain fall on barren land, in a desert where no one lives? Who sends rain that satisfies the parched ground and makes the tender grass spring up? - Job 38:25-27
It’s odd; sometimes we argue that God does not exist. Does creation not declare His glory? Open your eyes to the surroundings, He is speaking, do you not hear?
